The Teijin Group announced today that it will participate in Premiere Vision Preview New York, the fabrics and trends showcase that will take place at the Altman Building & Metropolitan Pavilion in New York on January 14 and 15.
Teijin Fibers Limited, the core company of Teijin Group's polyester polymers, fibres and textiles business, will organize its exhibition with N.I. Teijin Shoji Co., Ltd., the group company handling sales and import/export of textile materials and clothing products globally. Teijin Fibers, which has participated in Premiere Vision in Paris, will attend the New York show for the first time to expand its markets for casual and high-end clothing in North America, aiming to increase customers by 30% within this year.
Teijin will exhibit the following:
- NANOFRONT, the world’s first 700-nanometer ultrafine polyester nano fibre
- POEMY ECO, a chemically recycled polyester filament with a silky look and texture
- SILDOLL, a silky material that enables excellent colour development
- SYNEX, a polyester material with a soft, supple touch and excellent colour development
- ECO-A-WEAR, a blend of wool and recycled polyester staple fibre made from recycled pet bottles
- ECO CIRCLE, a closed-loop system for recycling used polyester products
